I have done several of your book studies, and this one ranks up as one of my favorites. I love the idea of surprised learning, and I used some of the ATLAS techniques in my lesson planning before I even finished the book. I would highly recommend this book study to my colleagues.

I was genuinely surprised by this book. It made daunting tasks, making activities more engaging, seem much simpler and attainable. I will defintely be adding these tools to my tool belt to make me a better teacher. I would recommend this book to my colleagues.
I liked this book study as the content was open ended enough that it applies to any teacher. I have had a lot of professional development where it doesn't really apply to band and I have to try my best to figure out ways to implement it. Overall, it was a great course.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm excited to implement what I have learned to my teaching. I have previously listened to Weston speak during in-service prior to reading his book so it was fun connecting what I had already learned from him to this class. I would recommend this book to my colleagues!

I thought the course was well organized and I appreciated the checklist with the assignments. The one thing that I didn't care for was creating a lesson. I would recommend this class. Thank you!!

I always like all of these courses as they help me revamp my lessons and they way I teach. All too often we get stuck in a rut and do what is easy- these classes help me rethink my lessons and what I can improve on- I already have 2 lessons ready to go.
I am a huge Wes Kieschnick fan! I took the podcast course that is offered through Transform Your Classroom, and absolutely loved what he and his wife had to say. This book was also awesome! Great analogies and practices that we can use in our classrooms. Will definitely recommend this book study!
I enjoyed this book and plan to use it to amp up and grab my students... The middle school and High School are what needs the most...I intend to use this with especially with this population. My elementary are usually excited about the projects and creating something awesome.
Choose one of the five attention-getters described in Chapter 3: Attention. How could you use this attention-getter to introduce a lesson that you are teaching within the next week? Be detailed in your explanation!
